Fundamentals of Neurofeedback (Level 1)

Overview

This course is an introduction to Neurofeedback. The aim of the course is to equip the new participants with basic knowledge and practical skills to be able to conduct an effective neurofeedback session. It is a practical hands on training that trains the participants to be able to carry out a prescribed training protocol effectively.
 

It consists of two components:
Part 1: Theory
Part 2: Class Practice
 

Upon Completion of Level 1, participant can work as an assistant Neurofeedback Therapist/ Technical support

Prerequisite

  • Minimum qualifications of Bachelor’s degree in related field

5. Learning Principles of Neurofeedback

6. Basic functions of the Brain and 10-20 Montage

7. Factors affecting efficacy of Neurofeedback

8. Introduction to the neurofeedback system - The Spectrum Brain Trainer

9. Procedure of Neurofeedback

  • Supervised class practice

  • Recording of observations

  • Reviewing training data

  • Recommended protocols
